Program Description

UPC Psychotherapy Clinic provides timely and open access to evidence-based best practice psychotherapy services. Individuals requesting treatment will meet with a therapist and discuss their needs and treatment goals to identify the right level of care and type of therapy to best meet their needs. The program focuses on offering as needed drop-in, single session counseling to assist during major life transitions or events and in a safe and therapeutic space. The program also offers comprehensive psychosocial diagnostic assessments for individuals who would benefit from longer-term treatment, and has multiple tracks of evidence-based psychotherapy for all major mental health diagnoses, including but not limited to: PTSD, Major Depression, Generalized Anxiety, Bipolar, Schizophrenia, and Borderline Personality Disorder. The focus of this program is to assist individuals in improving their quality of life and functionality. Individuals looking for long-term, multi-year, supportive psychotherapy would not be appropriate for this program.
