18 years and up with primary, moderate or severe substance abuse disorders and comorbid conditions.

Program Description

The Intensive Outpatient Program treats individuals with substance use disorders with evidenced based care that have been demonstrated to reduce re-admission to higher levels of care and improve overall prognosis. This programs utilizes the MATRIX model developed at Hazleton, Betty Ford, - an evidence based, flexible 'OP that has been proven to decrease substance abuse issues across diagnoses. The Matrix program has been normed across populations and has shown clinically significant results across numerous bodies of research, and earned inclusion in the SAMHSA list of Evidence-Based Treatments (EBTs). This model of care is structured in a 16 week schedule that consists of 3 days per week of service and 3-4 hours per day of intervention. The intervention schedule consists of group therapy, individual therapy, medication management, and family interventions / education.

  • Evidence based psychotherapies for PTSD, Major Depression, various Anxiety conditions, and Severe Mental Illness
  • Scheduled appointments for Psychiatry and Counseling
  • Medication assisted treatments, including Methadone and Suboxone
  • Case management Services onsite
  • Primary care services onsite

Referral process

For community referrals, walk-ins are welcome Monday - Friday 7:30 a.m. - 10:30 a.m. Those interested in treatment can come to the clinic during walk-in hours to complete admission paperwork and be scheduled for an intake to the program.
