Program Description

The UNMH Mobile Response Team (MRT) provides stabilization to those in need by phone or in person. We provide support to consenting individuals and families who find themselves in difficult circumstances including symptoms so severe that it is tough to leave your home, your thoughts are overwhelming and/or you need support to be safe. Individuals seeking mobile response may have to wait up to 2 hours for service providers to arrive. We aim to support you in your toughest time, so that you can stay in your home or community setting and avoid the hospital!

MRT is designed to serve people with urgent but not acute needs. Services may include, but are not limited to:

  • Linkage to services
  • Supportive counseling
  • Peer support services
