Ages Served:
Ages 18 and above with Major Depressive Disorder, Recurrent Severe, without Psychosis, who have failed at least four adequate antidepressant medication trials and adequate evidence-based psychotherapy trials.
Program Description
Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation is a noninvasive procedure that uses magnetic fields to stimulate nerve cells in the brain to improve symptoms of depression. Standard treatment course consists of daily treatments (Monday through Friday) for approximately six weeks. Accelerated treatment course consists of multiple treatments per day for one week (Monday through Friday).
