Program Description
The Cimarron Clinic is a psychiatric evaluation and medication management clinic serving patients ages O through 17. The Cimarron Clinic also provides specialized services for children and adolescents with developmental disabilities and those experiencing psychosis. Treatment is patient- and family-centered. During patient’s time at Cimarron Clinic, the treatment team will complete a thorough diagnostic evaluation and assessment, develop a treatment plan, negotiate treatment decisions, implement treatment (i.e., pharmacotherapy), assess and address treatment adherence issues, provide education, submit referral for other services, (i.e. financial counseling, psychotherapy, primary care etc.), and address troubling symptoms that could lead to psychiatric hospitalization. Our case manager registered nurses can also assist families with related needs, such as transportation and housing.
