Take the CDC HIV Risk Assessment Survey
If you answer yes to any of these questions, the CDC recommends that you get Hepatitis C and HIV tests
HIV Testing & Prevention
The Center for Disease Control (CDC) recommends everyone between the ages of 13 and 64 get tested for HIV at least once. UNM Truman Health Services – Roswell provides rapid point-of-care HIV and hepatitis C testing. It takes less than twenty minutes to get tested and receive your results. We also provide HIV pre-exposure and post-exposure prophylaxis to help stop the transmission of HIV.
Who Should Get Tested
People who engage in certain behaviors should get tested more often. We recommend taking the risk assessment survey from the CDC. If you can answer yes to any of these questions, then you should get an HIV and hepatitis C test as soon as possible.
