Program Description
UNM Health offers free, confidential, in-person support in Sandoval County for individuals who are feeling overwhelmed by life or their emotions and are unsure where to turn for help. A team of compassionate, nonjudgmental professionals, specially trained to respond to situations like yours, is available to provide support and assistance when you need it most.
Services Provided
By calling 988, you can connect one-on-one by phone with a caring, understanding, and nonjudgmental person who will support you through the moment. This service is available for individuals experiencing a wide range of challenges, including family or relationship difficulties, work or school stress, anxiety related to money or housing, grief, loss, or loneliness, concerns related to alcohol or drug use, and thoughts of self-harm, as well as many other situations that can cause emotional pain, stress, or anxiety. No matter what you are facing, you do not have to wait to get help. You are also encouraged to call if you are worried about a loved one and need guidance or support.
