Healthy Beginnings Clinic

Healthy Beginnings has been providing a pediatric medical home for children in foster care who reside in Bernalillo and surrounding counties since 2002. We provide comprehensive evaluations within federally mandated timelines that include primary medical care, health care management, urgent care, mental health screening, developmental screening, and social work case management.  We manage all referrals and coordinate with foster families and with child welfare. We provide child welfare with a health summary after each visit and maintain close communication.
