Report Abuse & Neglect
New Mexico “Duty to Report Child Abuse and Child Neglect” law (32A-4-3) states that every person who knows or has reasonable suspicion that a child is being abused or neglected in New Mexico must report the matter immediately to CYFD’s Statewide Central Intake (SCI) child abuse hotline (1-855-333-SAFE [7233] or #SAFE from a cell phone), law enforcement, or the appropriate tribal identity. (https://www.cyfd.nm.gov/report-abuse-and-neglect/)

Reporting Abuse, Neglect & Exploitation in Home and Community-Based Medicaid Waiver Programs
To make a report for any suspected abuse, neglect, or exploitation of an individual enrolled in a Home and Community Based Medicaid Waiver (HCBMW) including the Developmental Disabilities Waiver (DDW), Mi-Via Waiver, or Medically Fragile Waiver, please use the form accessible at the button below.
Providers must report any suspected abuse, neglect, or exploitation.
