Survivorship — Professional Resources
Helping Healthcare and Primary Care Professionals
Once your patient has completed treatment at the UNM Cancer Center, our physicians and staff will be happy to answer any questions you have about your or your patients' concerns after treatment.
Informational Sessions about Survivorship
We are also working with Project ECHO to offer informational sessions about cancer survivorship care. These sessions are designed for:
- Physicians (MD/DO),
- Advanced Practice Providers (NP/PA), Nurses, and Medical Assistants,
- Community Health Workers and Navigators, and
- Non-clinical practice staff (practice administrator).
Each session includes
- an evidence-based lecture,
- case-based learning, and
- an opportunity to earn CME/CNE/CHW CEUs.
A Successful Partnership with Project ECHO
The informational survivorship sessions provide free, online educational opportunities for healthcare workers who care for cancer survivors. These sessions have helped not just New Mexico healthcare professionals, but workers worldwide.
