Onsite Pharmacy
Our onsite pharmacy is located on the first floor and makes refilling and picking up prescriptions easy. We stock prescription and over-the-counter drugs. We also carry many drugs to treat cancer that most pharmacies do not stock. Some of these cancer drugs have extra rules we must follow. For these drugs, our staff will work closely with you before we fill your prescription and, if needed, after we give the drugs to you.

At our pharmacy:
- Fill any of your prescriptions.
- Transfer prescriptions from other pharmacies.
- Refill orders by phone.
- Request mail order prescriptions.
- Buy over-the-counter medicines.
We accept most major insurances, including Medicaid and Medicare. The UNM Cancer Center can arrange co-pay help to those who qualify.
Refills
If you need a prescription refilled at the UNM Comprehensive Cancer Center Pharmacy, call us at 505-272-1700, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Follow the prompts to place your refill by phone.
Refill Requests
If you fill your prescriptions at another location and need authorization for more prescription refills, please call your pharmacy directly. If you need assistance call 505-925-0290 and leave your information. We will work with your provider to get your prescription refilled. Please note: call ahead as refill requests may take two days.
