Parents as Teachers Home Visiting Program

Enroll in the Parents as Teacher program. Our team offers:

  • Trained parent educators to work with families in their homes.
  • Personalized caregiver information and support to fit a family’s needs, concerns & hopes.
  • Health and developmental screenings to assess the needs of the family.
  • Group connections to meet other families enrolled in the program.
  • Assistance locating and accessing community resources.

The home visists focus on:

  • The parent-child relationship because relationships are the foundation of learning.
  • Parenting that takes into account the needs of children at different developmental stages.
  • The well-being of the entire family.

Eligibility

We provide services to families with children from birth to age 5. We serve families who live in Bernalillo and Valencia counties. Depending on need, enrolled children and their families can remain eligible until kindergarten entry.
