From pregnancy through the preschool years, Early Childhood Programs offer support for New Mexican families through parenting challenges—and expert training for providers and advocates.

Early Childhood Programs

The first few years of childhood are so important. Little ones who have or are at risk for developmental delays or disabilities need early, continued support to thrive as they grow.

The CDD's Early Childhood Programs provide direct services for New Mexican children, parents, caregivers and families across the state. We connect families with judgment-free resources, such as substance use treatment in pregnancy and children's mental health services.

You can access many Early Childhood Programs at home—we drive more than 660,000 miles a year to visit families! Or meet with an expert at one of our community outreach clinics throughout New Mexico.

All Early Childhood Programs are developmentally appropriate and respectful of your culture and past experiences. From interventional services to ongoing education, CDD is your partner for healthy early childhood development.
