The Albuquerque Mastocytosis Symposium (TAMS)
Purpose and Objectives
Professional Attendees
Raise Awareness
Systemic Mastocytosis (SM) is an underdiagnosed myeloid neoplasm that can take a very long time to diagnose. Data from the SM scientific literature show a delay up to 8 years to diagnose the condition from the onset of symptoms. This conference will raise awareness among health care providers about this condition, diagnostic approach and patient care.
Knowledge Sharing
Provide a platform for researchers and clinicians to meet and share the latest scientific updates, treatment updates, and best practices to diagnose and treat SM.
Interdisciplinary Collaboration
Managing SM requires interdisciplinary collaboration between different subspecialties. This event will bring different specialties closer to accelerate the diagnosis, treatment, and referral of SM patients.
