Hospital-Based Quality Improvement Initiatives

NMPC QI Initiatives are statewide initiatives tailored around the implementation of selected Alliance for Innovation on Maternal Health (AIM) Patient Safety bundles in hospital birthing units and birth centers. QI initiatives are data driven and participation supports hospitals to achieve the CMS Birthing Friendly Designation.  Topics are selected based on high priority findings from the NM Maternal Mortality Review Committee (MMRC).
