At University of New Mexico Hospital (UNMH), our Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) Department is at the core of who we are and everything we do. We believe that embracing diversity not only enriches our hospital community but also enhances the quality of care we provide to our patients. Our commitment to equity ensures that every patient, regardless of their background, has access to compassionate and culturally informed healthcare. We strive to create an inclusive environment where all employees and patients feel valued, understood, and respected.
Through continuous education, open dialogue, policies, and community engagement, we aim to break down barriers and foster a healthcare setting where everyone can thrive. UNMH DEI is dedicated to making UNM Hospital a place where diversity is celebrated, equity is achieved, and inclusion is a way of life. Together, we are building a healthier, more inclusive future for all.
