Healthy Living and Diabetes Awareness Fair

As part of UNM Hospital’s ongoing commitment to promoting health and wellness in our community, we are excited to announce our upcoming Healthy Living and Diabetes Awareness Fair.

If you or someone you love has diabetes or prediabetes don’t miss this event! It’s a step towards empowering yourself with knowledge and resources to live a healthier, fuller life.

Visit most vendor booths to be eligible to receive a free glucometer and/or gas cards and food cards that will be given away to attendees between 11 am and 2 pm.*

*These items will be provided on a first come first served basis. Must be 18 or over to receive items. Other restrictions may apply.

American/Black foods

Food and local produce bags for each recipe will be provided on a first come first served basis. Quantities are limited.

Running Medicine (Walk-a-thon 10 am to 1 pm)

Native health Initiative is a community-driven partnership working toward health equity through Loving Service.

Running Medicine focuses on movement as medicine and has brought that to several communities in the US Southwestern regions
