myUNM Health Virtual Visits allow you to meet with your health provider online through a secure video-conference. View the links to the left for tip sheets on how to connect using Virtual Visits or Zoom.

Frequently Asked Questions

Contact your UNM provider or clinic to schedule your Virtual Visit appointment. Once scheduled, you will receive a link for your visit via email and/or text.

  • You can use a smartphone, a tablet, or a computer with a camera and microphone
  • A good internet connection
  • Up to date software on your computer or mobile device
If your appointment is using Zoom and you are using a mobile device, downloading the “Zoom Cloud Meetings” app is required.  If you will be using a computer for your Zoom telehealth appointment, downloading an app is not required.

 

  • Fully charge your device
  • Ensure that the volume on your device is up
  • If using a computer, ensure that you have a camera
  • Find a quiet private place for your visit
  • Check-in no earlier than 15-minutes prior to your appointment time
  • Have the clinic phone number on hand in case you have difficulty connecting
