Biography

Dr. Schevchuck received Summa Cum Laude degree of Medicine (MD) from Ternopil State Medical University, Ukraine in 2000 and Masters of Science degree from Ternopil State Medical University, Ukraine in 2002. Following his MD and MS degree he completed a 3-year residency in Internal Medicine at University of New Mexico and 3-year fellowship program in Cardiovascular Diseases at University of New Mexico.

Personal Statement

Dr. Schevchuck has clinical and academic interest in several challenging areas of cardiology, including Valvular Heart disease, Adult Congenital Heart Disease and advanced and interventional echocardiography to ensure Division of Cardiology at UNM HSC provides comprehensive and contemporary cardiology care to the New Mexico residents. Dr. Schevchuck also leading several telemedicine projects that are standing to fill the gaps in cardiology care needs for New Mexicans that have difficulties with accessing care.
