Biography
Dr. Rachel Miller is a clinical psychologist who works with children, adolescents, and families. She specializes in working with youth and families who have experienced trauma in providing trauma-informed and trauma-focused care. Dr. Miller provides psychological evaluations and therapy. Dr. Miller is also very involved in teaching and supervising trainees, as well as providing trainings to staff, clinicians, and other providers.
Dr. Miller completed her bachelors degree in Psychology from Lafayette College in 2006, and she went on to earn her PsyD in Clinical Psychology from La Salle University (Philadelphia, PA) in 2011. Dr. Miller completed her pre-doctoral internship at the Milton Hershey School (Hershey, PA) and her post-doctoral fellowship at the CARES Institute (Stratford, NJ) in 2013, where her specialization in trauma began. Dr. Miller has been with UNM Health Sciences Center since 2015 and primarily works within Children's Psychiatric Center - Outpatient Services.
