Biography
Arup Das received a M.D. degree in 1980 at Medical College, Calcutta, India. He earned his M.S. in Ophthalmology in 1983 at the University of Calcutta. He completed his Ph.D. in Physiology in 1986 at the Medical College of Ohio. Following his Ph.D. degree he completed a 2-year Postdoctoral Fellowship at Wayne State University in 1988. He also completed his Ophthalmology Residency at Wayne State University in 1992. In 1994 Arup Das completed his Vitreo-Retina Fellowship at Doheny Eye Institute followed by a Transitional Residency in 1995 at the University of New Mexico School of Medicine.
