Biography

Dr. Brennan received a BS in Biological Sciences and a BA in Psychology and graduated summa cum laude as a member of the Medical Scholars Program at the University of Illinois-Chicago in 2005. She earned her MD and was awarded the William J. Grove "Top Medical Student" Award from the University of Illinois-Chicago in 2009. She then completed a 5 year Otolaryngology-Head & Neck Surgery (OtoHNS) Residency program in Chicago, IL, followed by a fellowship in Facial Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery (FPRS) in New York, NY, completed in 2015.

Dr. Brennan has been a faculty member of the University of New Mexico School of Medicine in the Department of Surgery, Division of OtoHNS, since 2015, and is currently an Associate Professor. Dr. Brennan has published 15 original research articles in PubMed refereed journals,f and lectures nationally on a wide variety of FPRS topics. She is the Director of Facial Plastic Surgery at UNM and has received teaching awards from the College of Medicine. Dr. Brennan is Dual American Board certified in OtoHNS and FPRS, and has special expertise in rhinoplasty, facial reanimation, and vascular anomalies surgery, which she performs at the University of New Mexico Hospital.
