Biography

Aragon (she/her/hers) is currently an Assistant Professor at the UNM College of Pharmacy where her clinical practice and clinic research includes patients with gender dysphoria and cardiovascular risk reduction for people living with HIV. She is also passionate about improving student pharmacist and pharmacy resident wellbeing and provides an elective course in this area. She has maintained professional involvement in the American Pharmacists Association throughout her time as a student pharmacist and now as a new practitioner. Aragon received her BCACP credentials on 12/31/2020. She serves as the Co-Director of the UNM College of Pharmacy PGY2 in Ambulatory Care Pharmacy Residency.

Personal Statement

I believe in providing high quality and evidence-based healthcare to all. Serving a community of historically underserved patients is extremely rewarding and can provide a meaningful impact in their lives. I consider myself an educator who provides a learning environment that challenges students and helps them create a foundation to think independently and critically.
