Partners for Employment
Partners for Employment is a collaborative partnership among the New Mexico Division of Vocational Rehabilitation (NMDVR), the New Mexico Health Care Authority/Developmental Disabilities Supports Division (DDSD), and the University of New Mexico’s Center for Development and Disability (CDD).
We believe:
- Every person has the right and ability to work given opportunity, access, and informed choice.
- Access to competitive integrated employment enables a person to engage in community life, control their personal resources, and increase their self-sufficiency.
- Employment expands equality, diversity, identity, and status.
- All people should be paid at least minimum wage.
Our mission:
- To improve employment outcomes for people with disabilities.
- To raise opportunities for professionalism, creativity, and leadership in New Mexico’s supported employment and school-to-work transition fields.
- To support projects that facilitate interagency coordination of school-to-work transition and supported employment services.
