Get the most advanced dental care at UNM's Department of Dental Medicine. As New Mexico's only dental residency program, you will get excellent care in our state-of-the-art facilities. We accept all patients of all ages, including those with chronic medical illnesses.

Providing a Full Spectrum of Dental Care
UNM Dental provides care for patients of all ages. Appointment availability varies by location. While Medicaid and most other major insurance plans are accepted, UNMCare is not accepted.
Camino de Salud Location -UNM Dental Clinic
Services are provided by dental school graduates. Experienced dental faculty oversee your care, including care for medically complex patients. Available services include cosmetic, implant and sedation dentistry, as well as oral surgery and teeth whitening.
Yale Location - UNM Special Care Dental Clinic
This state-of-the-art clinic provides care for patients who have difficulty receiving services in typical dental offices due to physical or intellectual disabilities. Every detail of this clinic has been thoughtfully designed with our special care patients in mind: from the specialized chairs and X-ray units to the color scheme, specifically chosen to instill a sense of calmness and ease.
