Office of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion

The UNM HSC Office of Diversity, Equity & Inclusion was created in 2010 to ensure all patients receive the most effective and sensitive medical care possible. The Office offers on-going programs to improve care and health equity in New Mexico. Learn more.

Specialty Services & Care

We offer culturally competent care for Native Americans in New Mexico and across the Southwest. Indian Health Services partners with us to coordinate health care on tribal lands.

We also offer telehealth options for families living in rural areas and those who cannot travel to Albuquerque. For those who do not speak English as a first language, we offer interpreter services to help you understand your child’s care.
