Your Child’s Clinic Visit

Whether your child is coming in for a yearly check-up or to get care for an illness, UNM Children’s Hospital and clinics have you covered. We offer pediatric care and specialty care across the Albuquerque metro area for your convenience.

What to Bring

Please arrive 15 minutes before your scheduled appointment time. For every appointment, please bring:

Your insurance card
Check, credit or debit card for a co-pay, if applicable
Medical records, tests and/or list of current medications

COVID-19 Guidelines

We are taking extra safety precautions to keep you, your child and our staff healthy. All visitors over age two are required to wear a mask except those with verified medical conditions.

We ask that only one parent attend the child’s appointment. Please do not bring other children along. See our visitor guidelines [PDF].

COVID Testing Locations

UNM Children’s Hospital does not currently offer COVID testing for asymptomatic patients, but we do offer pre-procedural and pre-surgery testing by appointment in the Pediatric Urgent Care Clinic. Get a full list of testing locations.
