Telehealth

The UNM Center for Telehealth is here to connect you to your UNM provider using telecommunications, no matter what part of the state you're in. We provide patient care services via telehealth in 25 specialties to more than 40 sites as well as to patients in their homes.

Contact your UNM provider to find out if telehealth is an option for you and your family.

What is Telehealth?

With telehealth, patients don’t have to leave their communities to receive care. They can connect to UNM specialists from their local clinics and hospitals, or from their homes. The patient and the UNM specialist can meet through a secure video-conference for a live consultation, or your local provider can get recommendations from a specialist by sending images - such as X-ray or photographs of skin conditions - to us via a secure network.

Contact your UNM provider to find out if telehealth is an option for you.
