Biography
Dr. Allen received a BA in Sociology/English from Barnard College, Columbia University and an MD from New York Medical College. Following her Medical Degree she completed a one year Internship and two year Residency in Internal Medicine, a three Fellowship in Cardiology and a one year advanced Fellowship in Interventional Cardiology. I predominantly work in Cardiology at the VA Medical Center but do spend some time in the Cardiac Cath Lab at UNMH.
Personal Statement
I have worked in Cardiology and more specifically Interventional Cardiology for over 20 years. I enjoy all facets of patient care and have worked in Private Practice as well as Academic Cardiology. I am particularly interested in mentoring and sponsoring Women in Cardiology.
