Patient Relationships

Patient and community feedback is our most valuable asset in shaping the direction of UNM Health System to ensure exceptional care. Our mission is to provide support to the UNM Health System on best practices, Hospital Consumer Assessment of Health care Providers and Systems (HCAHPS) education, Press Ganey resources, and data analytics in order to improve patient experience.

Patient Advocates

At UNMH, we take seriously, our mission to provide safe, high-quality, comprehensive care. In doing so, the patient relations department is here to support and honor the patients voice and their perspectives in an effort to put patients first. Our vision is simple: to improve the patient experience, every day, one patient at a time.

  • Inpatient and outpatient primary and specialty medical care
  • Patient outreach and communication
  • Staffing and development
  • Visitor and guest services

Quarterly Community Meetings

Four times each year, we hold open meetings so the community can share feedback on services and programs. Tell us how we can serve you better:

  • What do you need from UNM Health System?
  • What health topics do you want to know more about?
